[REVIEW] Natural Pacific – Real Floral Calendula Toner

Hi, what’s up guys?

I’ve been idle from social media (or at least I haven’t be able to post much lately) because I’m still adapting to my new “life”. Yeah I moved to a new city and I currently doing my internship. And my laptop is broken😭😭 so I can’t really function well.

So today, finally I’m going to tell you my experience with a new toner coming from natural pacific. I love the brand because I’ve tried their serum and I’m loving it so much.

Alright let’s begin. As you can see, the toner came in a clear bottle with a white cap. It contains about 180ml.

Product claims

Real Calendula Energy Toner is a calming and moisturizing toner with real calendula petals and it is also 91% calendula water. Besides calendula, it also contains Allantoin which makes flaky and chapped skin smoother.

  • Calendula Flower Water 91%
  • No hazardous ingredient
  • Minimize skin irritation.
  • Fresh cleansing
  • Cleanse makeup residue
  • Cleanse residue in the pores

Calendula officinalis flower water(91%), Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Beta-Glucan, Sodium Hyaluronate, Calendula Officinalis Flower, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Chrysanthellum Indicum Extract, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA

Basically, this toner contains a lot of flower extract. And the main actor of this toner is calendula, calendula has an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, and it often used to treat a wounded skin and sun-burn. Calendula also antioxidant rich and has a brightening effects+regenerating function as it can stimulate collagen production (source).

This toner is alcohol free and fragrance free.

As you can see, this toner has a real calendula petals inside it (which makes it look more appealing and interesting in my opinion). The texture of this toner is really watery and it has no scent at all.

My thoughts?

I like this toner. It’s a nice toner but nothing makes it special, it’s moisturizing enough and doesn’t makes my skin oily or breakout. I don’t think this toner will cleanse your makeup properly (so you should use proper makeup cleanser prior to using this toner), but this might be a great option for your morning cleanser if you don’t want to wash your face using cleansing foam. They also claimed that this toner will help in reducing redness/irritation, but I don’t think this toner does the job. It also doesn’t brighten my skin. But it doesn’t mean that this toner is a dud, if you’re looking for a toner that’s moisturizing, natural ingredient based, and suitable for oily-sensitive skin, then this toner might be a great option for you.

Repurchase? Nah, I’d prefer buy Klairs’ toner for a hydrating/moisturizing toner.

Well, that’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed my review!
