[REVIEW] La Roche-Posay A.I

It’s literally been months since the last time I write something in here, let’s just say that life gets in the way hahaha.

Anyway, my face is attacked by lots and lots of acne ever since I moved to Jakarta around 5 months ago. Its just so annoying that I ran out of my effaclar duo when it happened. Long story short, I decided to buy effaclar A.I. instead of effaclar duo (+).

What is Effaclar A.I?

Ok so basically it’s another product from la roche-posay’s effaclar range. Quoting from their website:

EFFACLAR A.I. fights against imperfection and activates the skin’s regeneration process. The skin regains a homogenous surface. Skin looks and feels clearer and smoother. Imperfections are visibly reduced as residual marks.
Specifically formulated for oily, blemish-prone skin. For locally imperfections. Suitable for sensitive skin. Local blemishes in oily skin with imperfections.I

Key ingredients?

  • Niacinamide halts the evolution of imperfections.
  • The combination of piroctone olamine and glycacil purifies the skin in order to resorb the imperfection.
  • Micro-exfoliating LHA and soothing La Roche-Posay thermal spring water activate the skin’s regeneration process.

My thoughts?

I have a high expectation on this product. And fortunately it didn’t disappoint me at all! Before I get into it, let me talk about the texture of the product first. First of all, its a very light weight and fast absorbing cream, it doesn’t leave any marks or residue in my skin, so its really wearable under makeup.

I started using this about 2 months ago as a spot treatment. So, how is it? So I got this annoying acne on my forehead, its really red and itchy and all those stuff, you know? and this cream works like a magic, on day 1 the acne is starting to calmed down, and on day 2 its almost gone. This cream is literally a gift from god. I don’t know if this cream will work to treat cystic acne, because *thank god* I don’t have one so I can’t really test it.

So, if you’re struggling with acne, tired of it, want to get rid of it ASAP. You should definitely try this one. This cream is work even better than effaclar duo.

Ok so that’s it for today! Follow me on instagram for more updates on skincare stuff and a little bit about life~

Thank you for reading!

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Appreciate it!
